A small beginning. A useful first step. Our first two projects are pro bono
Rising
Founders Lab.
AI training & practical projects

Less AI hype.
More “I made
this work.”

For the curious person, the ambitious team, and the classroom ready to try something new. We help you turn AI into skills you can use and work you can show.

PRACTICAL LEARNING. SHARED PROGRESS.
A place to ask. A place to try.

Good questions.
Better together.

A way in for everyone

Different starting points.
The same practical spirit.

You don’t need another hundred-tool list.
You need a clear next step.

Team workshops & workflow projects

Make AI part of the work.
Not another thing to learn.

Bring a recurring task, a messy process or a team that wants to get comfortable with AI. We’ll build a focused session or project around what you actually do.

WHAT WE CAN WORK ON
  • ↗ Practical AI foundations for everyday work
  • ↗ Research, writing and knowledge workflows
  • ↗ Small automations with human review
A focused workshop, a short project, or a combination. We agree the scope together.
How we work

A real problem.
A sensible way forward.

AI is a tool. Your context, judgement
and confidence are the important part.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Find the useful bit.

We start with your goals, current tools and the task that keeps taking too long. We decide where AI can help—and where it shouldn’t.

02 / BUILD

Get your hands on it.

Try the tools, work through a real example and build a small, testable result. Questions and mistakes are part of the session.

03 / HAND OVER

Keep the confidence.

Leave with the workflow, materials or prototype we agreed on, plus guidance to keep using and improving it.

What useful could look like

Small projects.
Real possibilities.

These are example briefs, not completed
client projects. Bring us your version.

From messy notes
to a clearer next step.

Better research.
Better questions.

Practise using AI to explore a topic, trace sources and separate a confident answer from a sound one.

An idea you can
put in someone’s hands.

Turn a simple idea into an initial AI-assisted prototype, then learn from feedback before going bigger.

The founding projects

Let’s make the
first two count.

We’re offering our first two scoped projects pro bono. It’s a chance to work closely together, solve something useful and help shape how the lab works.

We’re looking for a small team, school or community organisation with a clear challenge and someone ready to take part.

01
A useful problem

A focused task, a learning need or an idea ready to test.

02
A committed collaborator

Someone who can share context, give feedback and try the result.

No fee for the agreed project scope.

We’ll confirm fit, deliverables and any third-party tool costs upfront. We’ll ask for honest feedback; any public case study needs your permission.

Why this lab exists

Potential gets interesting
when you use it.

Rising Founders Lab brings together practical AI learning, workshops and hands-on projects. We’re building a space where people can ask basic questions, try ambitious ideas and make progress they can see.

Our starting point is Singapore, with relationships in tuition, the international-school community and the startup world. Our outlook is wider: useful skills and confident people, at any stage.

You don’t have to be a founder to begin.
You just need something you want to learn or improve.
A few good questions

Before we
get started.

Is this only for students?+

No. We work with individuals, teams, schools and community organisations. Student workshops are one part of the lab, alongside workplace AI training and practical projects.

Do I need to know how to code?+

Not for introductory workshops. We’ll agree the starting level before a session and choose tools that suit the people taking part. More technical projects may need specific skills.

What does a pro bono project include?+

A focused scope agreed together: a challenge to work on, defined deliverables and a realistic timeline. The first two accepted founding projects have no delivery fee. Any external software or usage costs are discussed before work begins.

Can you run a workshop for our organisation?+

Yes—tell us who it’s for, what people already know and what you want them to be able to do. We’ll discuss a suitable format and scope. Dates, location and fees are agreed individually.

How do you handle sensitive information?+

We start with sample or anonymised material where possible and agree what can be used before introducing AI tools. We discuss tool settings, access and human checks as part of the project.

Are the project examples client case studies?+

No. They illustrate the kinds of problems we could work on. We’ll share completed work only when it exists and the people involved have agreed to it.

Start with a conversation

What could we
make useful?

A training session, a process that needs untangling, or an idea you’re not quite sure how to start. Tell us a little about it.
